1. Our commitment

Al Wadyat Capital wants alwadyatcapital.com to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who use a screen reader, navigate by keyboard, rely on magnification, or need reduced motion or higher contrast.

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines at level AA. That target is the reference standard for this website, and it informs how pages are built rather than being checked once at the end.

2. What has been done

Pages are built from semantic HTML with a single main heading per page and a heading order that reflects the structure of the content. Every page begins with a skip link so a keyboard user can reach the main content without traversing the navigation.

Interactive controls are real buttons and links with visible focus indicators, accessible names and keyboard operation. The navigation, the accordion used for questions and answers, and the enquiry form can all be operated without a mouse.

Images carry alternative text that describes what the image shows rather than repeating a heading, and decorative graphics are marked so that assistive technology can ignore them. Form fields have persistent, visible labels rather than placeholder text standing in for a label.

Colour is never the only way information is conveyed, text and background pairs are checked against the contrast ratios the standard requires, and the layout reflows to a single readable column on small screens without loss of content. Animation respects the reduced-motion preference set in the operating system.

3. Known limitations

We publish this section because a statement that claims perfection is not credible.

Content linked from this website but published elsewhere — a regulator's document, an external primary source — is outside our control and may not meet the same standard. We choose sources for authority, and cannot guarantee their accessibility.

Long articles use a table of contents and a contextual side panel on wide screens. Those are additions to the reading experience rather than requirements for it, and the article remains complete and in a logical reading order when they are collapsed on smaller screens or bypassed by assistive technology.

Where we identify a barrier, we record it and fix it in the ordinary course of maintaining the site rather than waiting for a scheduled review.
